My book Lunch Money was written by Andrew Clements it has 222 pages and is a very good book. I read it because I read A Dog’s Purpose loved it and wanted to find some more by Andrew Clements.
One of the main characters in the book is Greg Kenton. He has many talents but his best talent is collecting money. Ever since he was little he wanted to earn
Money. He would walk dogs cut lawns anything to earn money.
Maura Shaw is a smart yet bossy girl. She has ideas of her own but likes Greg’s Kenton ideas better. She is a great writer and drawer too.
Maura and Greg have never got alone very well but in this book they are trying to sell their comics at school. But there principal will not let them. Soon find out that the school sells comics too so they think it is unfair that the adults can do things that they can’t so they are try to earn there rights.
I gave this book a 5 star rating because it is funny and inspiring and I’ve all ready recommend it to a friend. I think more kids should read it and learn that they can do anything a teacher can. If you liked A Dog’s Purpose in fifth grade you will love Lunch Money.
